​Samir Maklad El Falah - Founder and General Manager of Rio Supermarket

An accomplished business leader and entrepreneur with experience in retail management and international trade, Samir Maklad El Falah is the founder and general manager of Rio Supermarket. Under Samir Maklad El Falah's leadership, the company earned the Supermarket of the Year 2023 award from Conindustria.

Before establishing Rio Supermarket in 2018, Mr. Maklad served as sales director at Inversiones Sabrina, where he managed the importation of appliances and developed relationships with international suppliers. This role allowed him to refine his skills in market analysis and identify opportunities for business growth. He also possesses in-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain management.

Mr. Maklad holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from IUTIRLA and an associate degree from UEN Porlamar. He is actively involved in industry associations such as ANSA (Asociación Nacional de Supermercados), Conindustria, and Consecomercio. Alongside his professional pursuits, he is committed to community service. In his leisure time, he enjoys traveling, engaging in outdoor activities, reading, and listening to music.
